Hello! I'm making this site in hopes of creating a feasible alternative to mainstream social media platforms. My main interests lie in politics/philosphy/theory, art, and education. I am very interested in computers and the internet, namely the Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) movement, as I relied on a lot of Open Source software as alternatives to pricey adobe software as a child. On a similar vein, I feel deeply passsionate about equal access to education, with the Open Educational Resources and Open Access movements being interests of mine as well. Relatedly, I have been working in the education field for a few years now, and I am currently in a tech support role within the same field (
